Junior Videographer/Content Creator

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Junior Videographer / Content Creator to document residential construction projects and support content production for marketing and education. This role focuses on capturing real job site footage and delivering organized, usable content to the Media Director.

COMPENSATION

Hourly rate: $18 to $22 per hour

Target starting rate: $20 per hour

Employment type: Full-Time

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports directly to the Media Director

Works alongside field staff and leadership

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Capture video and photo content on active construction jobsites

Document all phases of construction, including foundation, framing, mechanicals, insulation, and finishes

Capture wide shots, detail shots, and process shots

Record talking segments with company leadership explaining building methods

Organize and label all footage by project, date, and phase

Deliver footage to Media Director in a consistent and organized format

EQUIPMENT SPECS & RESPONSIBILITY

Must provide own camera (DSLR or mirrorless)

Camera Specs -

Camera with 4K 24fps capabilities required

Camera with 4K 60fps capabilities preferred

Company will provide microphones, tripods, and supporting gear

Maintain equipment readiness including batteries, storage, and backups

REQUIREMENTS

Basic understanding of video composition and framing

Basic understanding of lighting and audio capture

Reliable transportation

Ability to work on active construction sites

Travel is required

PREFERRED SKILLS

Basic video editing experience (Final Cut preferred but not required)

Familiarity with social media content formats

Experience filming construction or hands-on work

Familiarity with DJI drones, Part 107 license

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Attend 2 to 3 jobsites per week

Capture sufficient amount of footage and photos for a variety of social media content

Deliver consistent, organized footage weekly

GROWTH PATH

Phase 1: Capture consistent and usable footage

Phase 2: Assist with editing and shot planning

Phase 3: Begin producing independent content segments
