Junior Videographer/Editor

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Videographer & Editor to join our dynamic production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate emerging creator to develop their skills, assist on a variety of projects, and contribute to producing engaging video content from concept to delivery.

You are a keen learner with a foundational skill set and a strong desire to grow into a well-rounded video professional. You will support senior team members and play a key hands-on role in shooting and editing content for both broadcast and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of video production, including pre-production setup, on-location shooting, lighting, sound recording, and post-production editing.
• Help film a wide range of content, from brand videos and interviews to quick-turnaround social media clips for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Operate and help maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting kits, audio recorders, and gimbals.
• Edit video content under the guidance of senior editors using Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring strong pacing and visual coherence.
• Support with tasks such as media management, color correction, basic motion graphics, and sound editing.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver on assigned tasks.
• Stay updated on current video trends, techniques, and social media best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in videography and editing (including internships, freelance work, or academic projects). A strong showreel or portfolio is essential.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro. Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite apps (After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic production equipment.
• Understanding of fundamental video principles (framing, composition, audio) and social media formats.
• A keen eye for detail, a strong creative instinct, and a willingness to take direction and learn.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• This role is for applicants currently residing in Abu Dhabi, or those willing to relocate before starting work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic experience with directing or assisting talent on set.
• An interest or basic proficiency in Arabic is beneficial for supporting regional content.
• A personal passion for creating and understanding social media content, particularly for TikTok and Instagram.
