Junior Visual Artist (2D/3D) & Animator

About the Role

Sprouto is seeking a Junior Visual Artist (2D/3D) & Animator with a strong eye for design and a passion for visual storytelling. This role is ideal for a creative professional who enjoys working across 2D design, 3D modeling, and animation, and is eager to grow their skills while contributing to dynamic, high-impact projects.

You’ll collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to produce visually compelling assets across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D illustrations and 3D models including characters, environments, props, and product visuals.
• Design and execute animations ranging from simple motion graphics to detailed character and product animations.
• Develop engaging visual content for marketing campaigns, explainer videos, brand visuals, game assets, and architectural walkthroughs.
• Assist in storyboarding, concept development, and visual planning for animation projects.
• Optimize models, textures, and animations for performance and platform requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, animation techniques, and emerging tools, particularly in Blender and Substance Painter.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Game Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in 2D/3D design and animation.
• Proficiency in tools such as Blender, Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Substance Painter.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and animation principles.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, technical ability, and attention to detail across 2D/3D projects.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with rendering engines such as Cycles, V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift.
• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Basic knowledge of scripting or programming concepts.
• Experience creating assets for real-time applications or interactive media.
