Web Developer (Java) – Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong Java experience to support the design, development, and deployment of scalable web-based applications. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain enterprise-level platforms that support core business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and related frameworks
• Build and support back-end services and APIs to enable seamless system integrations
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and usability
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
• Support application deployment, testing, and ongoing maintenance activities
• Document technical designs, processes, and system changes as required

Required Skills

• Experience developing web applications using Java
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Maven
