Junior WordPress Developer

Squarera is looking for a Junior WordPress Developer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate should have a creative eye for design, a basic understanding of SEO, and familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You’ll assist in developing and maintaining websites, optimizing content for visibility, and supporting design and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Ensure responsive layouts and smooth website performance.
• Assist with on-page SEO tasks and keyword optimization.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to align website and social media content.
• Manage and update content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Troubleshoot website issues and apply timely fixes.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in WordPress development.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and tools like Google Search Console or Yoast SEO.
• Understanding of social media content management and posting practices.
• Sense of design with familiarity in tools like Canva or other graphic design applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with website speed optimization.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Photoshop.
