Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to support our web development team in building and maintaining WordPress websites. This is an entry-level role ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience who are eager to learn custom WordPress development and grow their skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining WordPress websites
• Customize themes and plugins under guidance
• Convert design files (Figma / PSD / XD) into responsive WordPress pages
• Help optimize websites for performance, speed, and basic SEO
• Troubleshoot minor bugs and plugin/theme conflicts
• Collaborate with senior developers, designers, and SEO teams
• Learn and follow WordPress best practices and coding standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of WordPress development experience (internships/projects accepted)
• Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Willingness to learn custom WordPress development
• Basic understanding of responsive design and website performance
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

Important: Candidates whose experience is limited to only using page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.) without any hands-on development or customization will not be prioritized.

Nice to Have

• WooCommerce experience
• Exposure to ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
• Basic understanding of SEO and schema implementation
• Familiarity with Git/version control
