Junior WordPress & PHP Developer

We are looking for a motivated Junior WordPress & PHP Developer to join our team. You will work on website development, customization, and maintenance tasks while assisting in building high-quality web experiences for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow their skills in WordPress, PHP, and modern web development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using themes and page builders.
• Customize themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Assist in creating custom post types, taxonomies, and Gutenberg blocks.
• Work on WordPress speed optimization and security improvements.
• Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement website designs.
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and aligned with best practices.
• Assist with website migrations, backups, and updates.

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, dashboard).
• Understanding of responsive design and modern UI/UX basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot common WordPress errors.
• Familiarity with Git is a plus.
• Knowledge of page builders like Elementor, Bricks, and WPBakery is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce customization.
• Familiarity with APIs and integrations.
• Knowledge of Figma to WordPress conversion.
• Basic understanding of website performance optimization.

Education
