Junk Removal-Driver

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Junk Removal Driver and be the driving force behind efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible waste removal services. In this energetic role, you'll operate the truck (no CDL required) to pick up and haul away junk, debris, and unwanted materials from residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth operations while providing excellent service to our customers. Duties

• Safely operate a the Chevy Low Cab Forward with dump bed to transport junk materials.
• Load and unload debris efficiently using manual lifting techniques and mechanical equipment.
• Drive confidently across different terrains and navigate urban or rural routes to reach job sites promptly.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely pickups and disposal of waste materials.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance.
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles. Preferably similar to a box truck.
• Skilled in manual transmission operation with a focus on heavy-duty vehicle handling.
• Ability to load & unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean record in commercial and non commercial driving environments.
• Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks associated with junk removal projects.
• Excellent customer service skills as our business is centered around customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and safe driving practices for delivery drivers. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
