Learning Designs Learning Services LLC is looking for Instructors in the Twin Cities Area!

Academic Coach/Tutor Position:

Learning Designs Learning Services LLC is seeking Instructors to tutor students using the Orton Gillingham Method in the Twin Cities area. We are looking for energetic, reliable, and experienced instructors who are passionate about connecting with students and education. The role requires certification in Orton Gillingham method and experience working with students in the age ranges of elementary to high school. Special Ed experience is also preferred but not required. The ideal candidates will be responsible, able to design their own curriculum, energetic, and enjoy working with students. You will be able to set your own schedule and enjoy flexibility and an already established client base.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Tutoring students who need help with their literacy and reading skills
• Creating curriculum tailored to individual students
• Willing to drive to meet students
• Maintain an accurate record of your sessions through our scheduling software

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

• Have you been trained in the Orton Gillingham Method or any type of Structured Literacy program such as Barton or Wilson?

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• tutoring or teaching: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Teaching Certification (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Preferred)
