Job Summary
PTAA K-9 STEAM Charter Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated K-4th Elementary School Teachers to join our vibrant educational community. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to early childhood education will help inspire a love of learning in children while supporting their academic and social development.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies, ensuring alignment with curriculum, state standards.
• Classroom management, encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning needs, including early intervention strategies.
• Use learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement, including implementation of Alpha AI 1 Platform.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction and tutoring to reinforce learning objectives and support individual student progress.
• Organize classroom activities, materials, and resources, including library services and educational games.
• Data Driven collaboration with grade level teachers on assessments, standardized testing preparations, and progress monitoring to track student development.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or higher early childhood education, Education or related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Experience working with children in classroom settings.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, parents, and staff.
• Compentency with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with autism or other special needs is a plus.
• Prior classroom experience with Charter school is highly valued.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
