Job Title: Elementary Music Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Elementary Music Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music to students in grades K-6. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and a love for music.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for students in grades K-6
• Teach students the fundamentals of music theory, including reading sheet music, rhythm, and melody
• Plan and lead engaging music lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including singing, playing instruments, and movement
• Foster a love for music in students by exposing them to a variety of musical genres and styles
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into other areas of the curriculum
• Organize and direct school concerts and performances
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians

Requirements:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Music or related field preferred)
• State teaching certification with SEI endorsement preferred
• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card
• Experience teaching music to elementary school students
• Strong knowledge of music theory and history
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
• Passion for music and teaching children
