Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate K-8 ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive ESL curriculum tailored to K-8 students, incorporating literacy education, math, and other core subjects as needed
- Plan and execute creative lesson plans that incorporate visual aids, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to support language development
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and classroom management techniques to foster a respectful learning environment
- Assess student progress regularly through standardized testing, formative assessments, and informal observations; provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education needs—including working with students with autism—and educational administration initiatives
- Offer tutoring sessions or additional support for students requiring extra help in literacy, math, or other subjects to ensure individual growth

- Strong expertise in curriculum development across multiple subjects including literacy education, math, and special education strategies
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Proven classroom management skills that promote a positive learning environment while addressing behavioral challenges
- Ability to create compelling educational content through creative writing and proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in instructional materials
