K–12 Tutor (Part-Time) – One 2 One Tutoring Svc, LLC

Job Overview

Join our growing team at One 2 One Tutoring Svc, LLC as a Part-Time K–12 Tutor! We are seeking motivated, reliable, and student-focused individuals who are passionate about helping students succeed academically.

In this role, you will provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring while building student confidence and supporting academic growth. Our approach combines “old school teaching with new school technology” to meet each student’s unique needs.

This is a flexible, part-time position (10–25 hours per week) with afternoon and evening availability required.

Responsibilities

✅ Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring (K–12)
✅ Support students in Reading, Math, and/or ELA based on strengths
✅ Assist with homework, missing assignments, and skill gaps
✅ Prepare students for EOG/EOC and grade-level assessments
✅ Create or follow structured lesson plans aligned to NC standards
✅ Track student progress and provide feedback to parents
✅ Maintain a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

✔ Experience working with children (tutoring, teaching, childcare, etc.)
✔ Strong communication and classroom management skills
✔ Ability to engage, motivate, and redirect students
✔ Dependable, professional, and punctual
✔ Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

⭐ Background in Education or related field
⭐ College students, graduates, or retired teachers
⭐ Familiarity with NC Standard Course of Study
⭐ Experience with IEP/504 accommodations

Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
10–25 hours per week (based on availability)
