Role Summary:

Responsible for developing, testing, and supporting Kafka-based data streaming solutions using the Confluent platform. The role involves building real-time data pipelines, managing Kafka clusters, and ensuring reliable production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Kafka producers, consumers, and streaming applications .
• Implement real-time processing using Kafka Streams and KSQLDB .
• Build and manage Kafka Connect connectors for system integrations.
• Support UAT testing and ensure smooth production deployments.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Kafka clusters and performance issues .
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Platform .
• Knowledge of Kafka Streams, KSQLDB, Kafka Connect, and Confluent Control Center .
• Programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala .
• Understanding of Kafka architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design .
• Experience with monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Kafka in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills .
