Kalaqtic Fashion Photographer intern

Job Summary:
Kalaqtic® is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photographer Intern to join our fashion-forward team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in fashion photography, creative direction, and content production. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, an understanding of brand storytelling, and a passion for capturing visually compelling imagery that reflects Kalaqtic’s bold and innovative style.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, styling, and execution of photoshoots for lookbooks, campaigns, and social media content
• Capture high-quality imagery that aligns with Kalaqtic’s visual identity and creative direction
• Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• Organize and maintain a digital photo library for easy access across teams
• Collaborate with stylists, models, makeup artists, and creatives to ensure cohesive, on-brand visuals
• Support behind-the-scenes content creation for social media and marketing
• Research photography and fashion trends to contribute fresh, creative ideas to upcoming shoots

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment
• Strong skills in photo editing using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and storytelling through images
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative creative team
• Passion for fashion, design, and visual storytelling
• Availability for on-site shoots and occasional off-site assignments in the Los Angeles area
