Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kavatender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by serving high-quality beverages and food items in a vibrant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food handling, with a keen interest in coffee and culinary arts. As a Kavatender, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our operations while ensuring customer satisfaction. Pay is state minimum server wage plus tips!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages with precision and care.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
• Manage daily operations of the café area, including inventory control and stock management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff members on food handling practices, shift management, and customer service protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items that complement beverage offerings.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to company policies regarding cash management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a food service or restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of culinary arts is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in shift management and restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic workspace.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience in bartending or beverage service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to manage inventory control processes efficiently to minimize waste and optimize resources.
