Ken Fix It (Engineering Department)

Job Summary

Royal Rose Hotel Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and dedicated Ken Fix It to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing minor maintenance tasks, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the overall upkeep of hotel facilities in line with luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
• Conduct minor repairs including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Assist the Engineering team with preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Uphold safety procedures and hotel standards at all times.
• Support the Engineering team during emergencies or urgent maintenance needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
