Kennel Attendant

The City of Bristol, Virginia has an immediate opening for the position of Part-Time Kennel Attendant with our Animal Shelter. This position works under the direct supervision of the Animal Shelter Manager and performs a variety of animal care duties and janitorial tasks for the Animal Shelter.

Duties include feeding and providing water for animals. Assisting with the movement of animals throughout the shelter. Helping to maintain a clean, healthy environment for the animals and the public through thorough cleaning daily and spot cleaning as needed, inside and outside of the building.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
