KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales plans to expand Freudenberg’s market presence in Turkey.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers across diverse backgrounds.
  • Customer Accountability: Manage customer relationships independently, escalating issues when necessary while ensuring accountability for outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Communicate technical product information effectively and apply problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Negotiation & Value Selling: Utilize negotiation and value-selling techniques to drive profitability and achieve ambitious targets.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly reports, sales forecasts, and market analyses for management.
  • Commercial Leadership: Lead commercial and technical activities within assigned accounts, including new customer acquisition and pricing strategy.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the automotive industry.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to drive growth and achieve targets.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel to FST production sites and customer locations as required.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Value for Customers: Anticipates, understands and meets internal/external customers’ needs and expectations. Develops solutions based on a customer centric approach.
  • Innovation: Drives and supports innovative ideas, while taking informed risks to seek and develop new or improved solutions.
  • Drive & Execution: Proactively identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Explores new ways and pursues new opportunities.
