Key Account Manager

Role Description

The Zonal Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic key accounts within an assigned zone/region. The role ensures strong customer relationships, achievement of sales targets, execution of business plans, and alignment between zone operations and national account strategy.

Skills/ Experience

· Drives sales and revenue growth through strategic planning and effective execution.

· Conducts regular business reviews to assess performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

· Provides strong leadership and manages teams to achieve organizational objectives.

· Directly and indirectly contributes to new business development through opportunity identification and relationship-building.

· Sets clear, measurable objectives that align with the organization’s goals and performance standards.

· Experienced in channel management and effective collaboration with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

· Highly adaptable in fast-paced environments, with strong capability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field (MBA preferred).

· 5–10 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.

· Experience in managing large accounts across multiple regions (experience in Beverages FMCG preferred).

· Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and consistently achieve revenue targets.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
