About This Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be a driving force behind our strategic account management and growth efforts. This role is critical to building and nurturing client relationships, developing opportunities within key accounts and delivering on revenue targets. This is not just a client-facing role it is an opportunity to influence and drive value for some of the most important accounts in our portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining and strengthening long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products or services, contributing to revenue targets and supporting overall business growth.
- Develop and execute account-specific strategies to achieve revenue objectives, ensuring continued growth of current revenue streams.
- Oversee the governance aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring compliance with established standards, company policies and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Actively intervene when necessary to keep projects on track, ensuring they deliver desired outcomes and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, delivery and support, to ensure a cohesive and effective service experience for clients.
- Work closely with external partners and stakeholders to align on project goals, setting mutual expectations for successful outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the company, facilitating open and clear communication to align on objectives and progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities to offer relevant insights and strategic guidance to clients.
- Provide valuable feedback and insights from client interactions, helping inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on account status, revenue performance, and client feedback to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Requirements
- 7+ Years of experience in account management or business development in technology and automation sectors, ideally with exposure to telecommunications or financial services clients.
- Expertise in consultative selling and solution-based sales, with a strong focus on value creation for clients.
- Established relationships with senior decision makers in client organizations, particularly in telecom and finance sectors.
- Ability to interpret data, challenge existing processes and deliver insights and recommendations that drive client growth.
- Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles, involving multiple stakeholders and high deal values.
- Enthusiastic about learning and evolving in a dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adjust to new challenges and technologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Project Management or Customer Relationship Management is a plus.
