Job Purpose:

The Key Account Manager – Duty Free is responsible for driving sales performance, distribution growth, and brand visibility across duty free retailers and travel retail partners globally. The role manages key commercial relationships, ensures flawless execution of merchandising standards, and supports new product launches in alignment with brand strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

Commercial & Sales

  • Manage sales performance across assigned duty-free partners (airports, airline retail, border shops, travel retail operators).
  • Drive sell-in and sell-out targets while achieving revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Prepare annual sales plans and quarterly forecasts.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, trading terms, and promotional budgets with partners.

Account Management

  • Act as primary contact for duty free accounts and strengthen long-term commercial relationships.
  • Develop strong understanding of customer business models and category strategies.
  • Monitor stock availability, replenishment cycles, and demand planning.
  • Ensure timely order processing and resolve operational or logistics issues.

Brand & Merchandising

  • Ensure perfect brand execution and merchandising in all POS across duty free locations.
  • Coordinate brand visibility, promotional activation, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with global brand guidelines in all duty-free environments.
  • Support installation of POS elements, gondolas, testers, and visuals.

Data & Reporting

  • Track KPIs: sell-in, sell-out, merchandising performance, stock coverage.
  • Monitor competitor activities and travel-retail market trends.
  • Provide monthly business reviews and analytical sales reports.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of commercial or key account experience within Travel Retail or Duty Free.
  • Experience in luxury, beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG is highly preferred.
