Join us as Key Account Manager - Pet industry!

In this role you’ll make an impact by :

• Developing new business with key Pet accounts.

• Implementing the US AH&N Business Unit strategies as it relates to Novonesis Pet portfolio.

• Maintaining in-depth high-level contacts with key end users and influencers, keeping them informed of price trends, new products and applications.

• Investigating customer complaints and solve routine industry problems on site. This includes, but is not limited to, new product applications, marketing efforts, new facilities, price trends, and key industry personnel.

• Meeting or exceeding sales budget targets on a year-to-year basis.

• Providing timely sales and product forecasts, reports and information as required.

To succeed you must hold:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Pet Food Science or closely related field. Masters degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of actual sales experience in the companion animal industry is required

• Good negotiation and follow-up skills

• Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals

• Relevant technical skills to know the right questions to ask of customers

• Must be a self-starter with drive and initiative and work with little supervision

• Passion for the pet food and supplement industry

• Excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers

• Ability to travel up to 50% of working time.

Location: Remote

Expected salary range: $145,000-$160,000
