Key Account Sales Executive (Modern Trade)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing key accounts within the UAE modern trade sector, with proven experience working with major retail chains such as Lulu Hypermarket, Nesto Hypermarket, Mark & Save, Union Coop, Carrefour, Safari, Al Maya, Grand Hypermarket, Viva, and other leading retailers.

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring excellent execution across assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with key modern trade accounts.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, market share, and product distribution.
• Negotiate annual agreements, promotions, pricing, and shelf placement with retail buyers.
• Plan and execute promotional activities to maximize sales performance.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with merchandising, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining strong business relationships.
• Prepare regular sales reports and account performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE FMCG sales experience in Modern Trade.
• Proven experience handling key accounts such as Lulu Hypermarket, Nesto Hypermarket, Mark & Save, Carrefour, Union Coop, Safari, Al Maya, Grand Hypermarket, Viva, or similar retail chains.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and sales reporting tools.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and achieve ambitious sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
• Experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer goods industries.
• Strong understanding of UAE retail market dynamics.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
