Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing sales activities. Create leads and follow-up with clients to achieve the target set by the management.
Lead Generation & Opportunity Development:
- Identify and qualify new leads within target industries (oil & gas, energy, petrochemicals, Data centers, etc..).
- Research clients’ operations, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns, events, and case studies.
- Use CRM and ERP tools to record leads and track progress.
Technical Engagement:
- Meet customers to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Collect project details (material specs, drawings, photos) and coordinate internally for costing and feasibility.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring clear alignment with client needs.
Conduct product demos and presentations to clients.
- Share quotations and follow up regularly to drive closure.
- Coordinate with design, production, and finance teams for pricing, delivery, and
documentation.
- Handle order processing, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups smoothly.
- Provide after-sales support, collect customer feedback, and ensure repeat engagement.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, and customer engagement metrics.
Scope of Authority:
- Collaborate with Estimation, Engineering, and Operations for pricing and execution.
- Work with the Commercial Director on quarterly sales targets and customer engagement plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 2 years of technical sales experience in the oil & gas or energy or similar domains.
- Proven success in solution selling and lead conversion.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical components and industrial supply chains.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, with ability to work independently across multiple client accounts.
