Job Purpose
To manage and develop key accounts within the household and kitchenware wholesale sector in the Saudi market by building strong relationships with major retail chains and key wholesalers, driving sustainable sales growth across assigned accounts, maintaining healthy profit margins, and ensuring full compliance with approved commercial policies
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts within the household goods sector (retail chains, wholesalers, central showrooms)
- Develop account growth plans including distribution expansion, shelf positioning optimization, and SKU rotation improvement
- Follow up on new product listings and ensure proper activation across branches
- Analyze product performance (fast-moving vs. slow-moving) and recommend improvements
- Negotiate seasonal promotions and discounts in line with approved policies
- Monitor execution of promotional campaigns and ensure compliance across branches
- Prepare sales forecasts based on seasonality (Ramadan, Eid, annual campaigns)
- Monitor stock levels across accounts in coordination with warehouses to prevent stockouts
- Ensure timely collections and adherence to agreed credit terms
- Track competitor pricing within accounts and provide periodic benchmarking reports
- Prepare monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations to improve profitability
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in wholesale sales or key account management within FMCG or household goods
- Proven experience dealing with major retail chains such as Panda, Othaim, Carrefour, Tamimi, Lulu, etc.
- Strong understanding of wholesale demand cycles and seasonal planning
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage commercial relationships professionally
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and product performance
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems for order management and reporting
