Select Shades is a network of family-operated sunglass stores based in Atlanta. Our selection encompasses sunglasses from globally renowned brands as well as emerging, regional, and entrepreneurial brands, each with unique narratives and styles. Our retail spaces are designed to offer maximum interactivity, featuring double the assortment of brands and up to 70% more styles compared to a standard Sunglass Hut. Uniquely crafted and merchandised to mirror the character of the communities they serve, each store boasts a distinctive ambiance. Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  • Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Actively seek out customers in store and “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options to cross sell products
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Handle returns and/or exchanges of merchandise
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)
  • All other tasks deemed necessary by store leadership or the company.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in a customer-facing role

Proficiency in English

Proficiency in Spanish very highly valued

Good communication, basic math, and organizational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
