Position Overview A Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of children aged 3–6 years. The teacher will plan and implement play-based and age-appropriate curriculum, assess student progress, maintain strong communication with parents, and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and developmentally appropriate lessons based on the KG curriculum. Use play-based, inquiry-driven, and child-centered strategies to engage learners. Foster early literacy, numeracy, communication, and socio-emotional skills. Integrate art, music, movement, story time, and sensory activities into daily routines. Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of all learners. Assessment & Reporting Observe, document, and assess children’s progress using formative and anecdotal records. Prepare and share termly or periodic progress reports. Use assessment data to inform instructional planning. Classroom Environment Create a stimulating, safe, and welcoming classroom with organized learning centers. Ensure classroom routines that promote positive behavior and independence. Maintain classroom resources, learning materials, and displays. Parent and Community Engagement Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, notes, calls, and digital platforms. Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress and recommendations. Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and community programs. Professionalism & Collaboration Collaborate with colleagues in planning, sharing best practices, and school initiatives. Attend staff meetings, training, workshops, and professional development sessions. Follow school policies, procedures, and educational standards. Health, Safety & Discipline Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of students at all times. Implement positive guidance strategies and manage class behavior effectively. Maintain accurate attendance records.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,592.64 - ₹40,411.64 per month
