KIA/Hyundai Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic KIA/Hyundai Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers and uphold the high standards of our dealership. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, and auto body components.
  • Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and routine inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles such as GM models or other makes.
  • Execute repairs involving diesel engines, powertrain components, automotive electrical systems, and welding tasks with precision.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repair.
  • Familiarity with diesel engine repair, powertrain systems, and automotive electrical systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools effectively.
  • Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills; customer service orientation is essential. Pay: $25.32 - $50.00 per hour
