Kind Goods Inventory Specialist

High Fidelity is led by a passionate and creative team of Missouri based entrepreneurs working in conjunction with a group of nationally recognized cannabis cultivation, processing, and retail experts. High Fidelity has been awarded licensing to operate two cultivation facilities, a manufacturing facility and six dispensaries. We aim to produce the highest quality medical marijuana and related manufactured/edible products at our state-of-the-art facilities which will be distributed to retail dispensaries in the St. Louis, MO region.

Position Summary

Inventory Associates play a critical role in maintaining accurate cannabis inventory and ensuring full compliance with state regulations. This position requires strong attention to detail, strict adherence to METRC guidelines, and consistent accuracy within the Dutchie point-of-sale system. Inventory Associates support product receiving, daily reconciliations, and overall dispensary operational efficiency while upholding company policies, security expectations, and regulatory compliance at all times.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of cannabis industry compliance (METRC, state regulations).
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Typing proficiency and comfort navigating digital systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply compliance requirements.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Must be able to follow company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Duties & Expectations

Inventory Management

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations using Dutchie Back Office.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, preventing shortages or overstocking.
  • Organize, label, and store cannabis products for efficient workflow.
  • Move products into the Dutchie POS system to be sold.
  • Ensure invoices are uploaded daily before end of day.

METRC Compliance

  • Accurately record all cannabis-related activities in METRC.
  • Track product movement, transfers, and disposals in accordance with regulations.
  • Receive or reject all incoming packages in METRC.
  • Verify invoices and signed METRC manifests from vendors.
  • Count all product packages and confirm IDs, tamper seals, and product quality.
  • Ensure manifests are properly signed by delivery personnel.
  • Communicate issues to the Inventory Systems Specialist and Management.
  • Request assistance when new products are not yet added to POS systems.

Collaboration & Operations

  • Work closely with dispensary staff and management for smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare empty bins, barcodes, and intake materials for scheduled deliveries.
  • Update menus (adding/removing products).
  • Assist with training new staff on inventory processes.

Security & Compliance

  • Follow security protocols to prevent diversion or loss.
  • Stay informed on regulation changes and assist in creating compliant procedures.
  • Maintain discreet and professional management of sensitive inventory data.

Meetings & Training

  • Attend daily huddles and monthly store meetings.
  • Participate in required ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 1 year of inventory management or related experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of POS system experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer-service, retail, or operations experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to handle problem-solving professionally.
  • Must pass a state-required criminal background check.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow regulatory standards.
  • All other duties as assigned.
