Kindergarten or 1st Grade Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten and 1st Grade Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to tailor instruction to individual needs.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support children's learning and development.
• Provide instruction in various subjects including literacy, mathematics, physical education, and social skills.
• Utilize library services to enhance learning experiences through literature and resources.
• Adapt teaching methods for students with autism or special education needs to ensure all children can thrive.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and conduct regular communication with parents regarding their child’s development.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Familiarity with teaching physical education concepts for young learners is a plus.
• Strong proofreading skills to ensure clarity in communication and documentation.
• Understanding of childhood development principles and effective teaching practices for early learners.
• Experience in working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
