Kitchen Aide/Dishwasher/Server

General Description: Job Responsibilities:

· Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sort soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed.

· Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.

· Sets up dish stations, including sanitizer solution and sinks.

· Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.

· Properly washes, stacks, and stores dishes, pots, pans etc…

· Changes water in sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses solutions dilutions.

· Assists in the unloading and timely storing of food deliveries.

· Maintain pantry conditions, rotating food and supplies, keeping clean and orderly.

· Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties. Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the director as needed.

· Assist with meal service; plating meals for clients during breakfast, lunch and dinner or as needed.

· Sweep and mop kitchen area and pantry area as needed and at closing.

· Able to walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.

· Ability to lift 40-60lbs. Maintain inventory stock in pantry area.

· Rotate and clean freezers as needed. Ability to maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to schedule/location adjustments and changes.

· Ability to work varying locations, shifts, holidays and weekends.

· Make certain that all clients are treated with the highest level of respect and professionalism

· Are required to be in compliance with all organization trainings.

Maintain boundaries with staff and clients and following all OBM policies and procedures are a must.

Work experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Hospitality-related kitchen experience preferred.
  • Current food Ehandler’s card and other certification as required by federal/state/local law or the ability to acquire within 3 months of hire.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
