Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their renovation goals, offering tailored cabinet and lighting design solutions that meet their style and functional needs
• Utilize SketchUp, CAD, and layout design tools to create accurate visual representations of kitchen and bathroom layouts, including lighting plans and interior design elements
• Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting the benefits of high-end cabinetry, lighting options, and remodeling materials
• Conduct inside and outside sales activities by building relationships, upselling premium products, and managing account details to maximize sales opportunities
• Assist customers with merchandising, stock management, POS transactions, cash handling, and retail math to ensure smooth sales processes
• Collaborate with clients on negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Support marketing efforts by promoting new products, remodeling trends, and lighting solutions to increase showroom traffic and sales volume
• Maintain organizational skills by keeping the showroom tidy, stocked with product samples, and up-to-date on current renovation and construction trends

Experience

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the home improvement, renovation, or interior design industries
• Strong knowledge of cabinetry products, layout design software such as SketchUp or CAD programs, lighting design principles, and remodeling processes
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
• Familiarity with negotiation techniques, upselling strategies, and account management practices to foster long-term client relationships
• Hands-on experience with construction or renovation projects is highly desirable
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail transactions and project estimates accurately
• Organizational skills necessary for merchandising displays, stocking inventory, and managing multiple customer accounts effectively
