Responsibilities

• Engage with customers both in-store and in the field to understand their remodeling needs for cabinets, countertops, flooring, window treatments, and lighting.
• Provide expert guidance on layout design, product selection, and renovation options using tools like Pro-Kitchen or CAD to create visual representations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and upsell premium options to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Develop strong relationships with clients through effective communication, negotiation, and account management skills.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project quality standards are met.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales transactions via POS systems, and project details for seamless follow-up.
• Stay informed on current market trends in high-end sales, lighting design, interior design, and merchandising to provide innovative solutions that meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within renovation, construction, or retail environments.
• Proficiency with ProKitchen / 2020, CAD software, or lighting design tools to assist with layout planning.
• Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to close high-end sales effectively.
• Knowledge of remodeling processes including cabinetry installation, flooring options, window treatments, and lighting solutions.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, merchandising principles, and basic math skills for accurate quoting and pricing.
• Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
