Kitchen and Bath Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their vision, provide expert advice, and create layouts that maximize space and enhance usability.

Position Summary

As a Kitchen and Bath designer you will be responsible for determining clients needs and presenting solutions utilizing our products and services to fulfill those needs.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Meet with clients during an initial consultation in our showroom to determine client needs and project scope.
• Offer design recommendations and assist clients in making product selections to fulfill those needs.
• Conduct site visits to determine any site constraints and obtain measurements.
• Create client proposals that may include design selections, cabinet designs, material list, labor proposals, and any other items needed to complete the project.
• Present final proposal to client and complete sale
• Manage multiple projects and complete proposals in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with builders, contractors, and other professionals as needed.
• Maintain updated records for each project and provide status updates when requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen and bath design or construction
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and bath products, materials, and finishes
• Proficiency in design software (2020 design preferred)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time to conduct showroom consultations and prepare proposals.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs at times.

Pay based on experience and will be discussed during hiring process.
