Kitchen and Bath Designer

We are seeking a creative and client-focused Kitchen and Bath Designer to lead clients from vision to detailed design. In this role, you will meet with clients, develop layouts and renderings, prepare estimates, and collaborate closely with ownership and the shop to bring projects to life.

This is a hybrid role with autonomy, flexibility, and direct partnership with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, builders, and designers to understand project goals, style, and budget
• Develop functional and aesthetic kitchen and bath designs that align with Georgia Custom Cabinets standards
• Create drawings and layouts using Mozaik (training provided) or similar design software such as 2020 or AutoCAD
• Prepare material selections, specifications, and pricing details
• Coordinate with ownership and production to confirm feasibility, construction details, and installation considerations
• Present designs and revisions to clients in a clear, confident, and collaborative manner
• Maintain accurate documentation for each project, including drawings, notes, and change requests
• Support a positive client experience from initial consult through final approval

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen and bath design, interior design, cabinetry, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in or exposure to design software such as Mozaik, 2020, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
• Strong sense of space planning, proportion, and aesthetics
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple active projects
• Reliable transportation for client meetings across North Georgia
• High-potential candidates with strong design aptitude and willingness to learn will be considered

Compensation

• Expected range: $50,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience and portfolio
• Performance based incentives available on closed projects
• Mileage reimbursement or fuel stipend for client visits
