Kitchen and Bath Designer

Job Summary
As a Kitchen and Bath Designer at JLS Remodeling Services, you’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and our team to design custom kitchens and bathrooms that blend function and style. You will be involved from the initial consultation through to design approval, helping ensure a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen and/or bath design needs and preferences.
• Utilize design software such as2020 Design and Chief Architect to create detailed kitchen/bath layouts and 3D renderings.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances that align with client budgets and styles.
• Select materials, fixtures, cabinetry, and finishes
• Conduct site visits to measure spaces and ensure designs are feasible.
• Assist in upselling products and services to enhance client satisfaction and project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and project progress through BuilderTrend Software.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and budgeting purposes.
• Revise designs based on client feedback and construction requirements
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, building codes, and material innovations
• Assist with showroom displays and material library maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is required (2 year minimum)
• Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect and 2020 Design or similar tools is required.
• Strong sales skills with experience in inside sales or remodeling projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of materials, fixtures, and finishes

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
