Job Functions

As the design professional, you will be the "river guide' for our clients, helping them navigate through our process, from the conceptual drawings to selecting the finishes from our preferred vendors, and assisting with any design changes or challenges that could come up during the construction process.

This role is structured as a customer service and support-oriented sales position that also incorporates design work utilizing the Interior Design software programs such us 2020, SketchUp, and other tools. The Kitchen & Bath Designer/Salesperson will consult with a broad customer base in our showroom, as well as on-site in private homes.

Experience Preferred

Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a designer role. A degree from an accredited interior design program is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of 2020 kitchen and bath design software, Chief Architect or equivalent is required.

Skills Required

  • The Kitchen & Bath Designer will be a friendly and flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine love for people, as well as design.
  • Detailed Oriented professional-being able to create detailed drawings using design software, and order the right quantity and sizes of finish materials.
  • A motivated and goal-driven personality with the gift for cultivating strong relationships with clients.
  • A consultative approach that helps make Keselman Construction Group, Inc a trusted resource in the local home remodeling industry.
  • You must be able to collect all the details needed to build a successful project, beginning with a customer's initial showroom visit all the way through to the construction process, and beyond.
  • An ability to build an excellent rapport with customers that easily secures repeat business and referrals. This includes being able to ask the right questions to gain insight into a customer's goals and vision for their project.
  • Up-to-date kitchen and bathroom design knowledge and training, including an understanding of and ability to keep up with current trends.
  • Willingness to follow our system and processes from the initial design to project completion.
  • Understanding the need for good communication with all the parties involved.
