Job Overview
The Kitchen and Bath Cabinet Project Manager is responsible for driving sales across cabinetry, countertops, and bath products while managing projects from consultation to installation. This individual will provide expert design guidance, manage product selection, maintain client relationships, and ensure projects are executed to the highest standards. This role requires a seasoned sales professional who is creative, organized, a strong communicator, and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Drive In-Store Sales- Sell kitchen and bath cabinets, bathroom vanities, and countertops through expert consultations and personalized customer service.
- Design Consultation- Assist customers in selecting products that match their style, needs, and budget—coordinating cabinetry, and surfaces for a cohesive design.
- Project Management- Manage all aspects of customer projects including estimates, timelines, order management, scheduling, and installation coordination.
- Client Communication - Act as the main client liaison throughout the project to ensure smooth execution, managing expectations, solving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Lead Generation & Networking- Proactively seek out new business by networking with builders, designers, realtors, and industry professionals.
- CRM, RFMS, 20/20 Utilization-Accurately track leads, customer communications, quotes, orders, and project statuses using CRM and RFMS (Flooring software).
- Team Collaboration- Work collaboratively with designers, project coordinators, installers, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless execution and outstanding customer service.
- Product & Trend Expertise- Stay updated on the latest trends in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and bathroom design to effectively advise and upsell.
- Relationship Building -Build lasting relationships with clients to promote repeat business, referrals, and company loyalty.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in cabinetry, countertops, or interior design
- Strong knowledge of LVP, hardwood, tile, carpet, kitchen cabinets, vanities, and countertops
- CRM experience (RFMS)
- RFMS, 20/20 experience highly preferred
- Exceptional design consultation, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills
- A passion for interior design, quality craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction
- Team-oriented with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
