Kitchen and Bathroom Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen and Bathroom Designer to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will serve as the central hub for all design related matters, on a team with two project managers, and one project coordinator. Your proactive approach will help drive project success from inception through completion, supporting our team with 3D designs and finish material selections. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in interior design, while contributing to impactful projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Field Operation:

• Visit the clients home with the project manager, and talk through design ideas, as well as taking precise measurements.
• Shop with clients for all finishes including traveling to venders and shopping online.
• Verify that the finish material that arrives is correct, and go to projects to continue to ensure all design elements are going per the plan.
• Be part of the team to step in when needed, to assist the project Managers and project coordinator with daily tasks.

Office work:

• Build a comprehensive 3D design with layouts and elevations.
• Build and present quotes for cabinets as well as other finish materials.
• Check and coordinate the arrival of the materials to the job site.

Skills

• Proficiency in a 3D software, preferably Chief Architect or 2020.
• Proficiency with Xcel, and Google Suites software tools.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams including engineers, clients, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
