ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a full-service Kitchen and Bath Design Company with a strong focus on millwork. This role is an entry level position ideal for someone eager to build a career in interior design and project coordination — combining creativity with strong organizational skills. You will work directly alongside our lead designers and project managers, supporting projects from the initial client meeting through final design and sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Support & Client Communication
- Attend and document design meetings; prepare and distribute accurate meeting notes and action-item follow-ups to clients and internal team members
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, collecting and organizing project information, selections, and feedback throughout each phase
- Coordinate all incoming client communications and ensure information is accurately entered and tracked in Asana project management software
- Showroom and sample upkeep
Design Software & Production
- Learn and become proficient in 2020 Design software (industry-standard kitchen and bath CAD/rendering platform)
- Produce floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and design drawings after completing software training
- Execute design revisions efficiently based on client feedback and designer direction, maintaining organized version control of all drawing files
Cabinet Orders & Procurement
- Prepare, submit, and track all cabinet orders with vendors from initial specification through delivery confirmation
- Maintain detailed order logs including lead times, ship dates, and delivery status; proactively flag delays or discrepancies
- Coordinate with project managers and installers to ensure order timelines align with construction schedules
Contracts, Invoicing & Administrative Follow-Up
- Prepare client contracts and proposals for designer review and approval
- Track outstanding invoices and follow up with clients on payments in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain organized client project files and ensure all documentation is current and accessible in company systems
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — professional, clear, and client-ready
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new software platforms quickly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to take initiative and grow with the role
Preferred
- Prior experience with Asana or similar project management tools
- Background or coursework in interior design, architecture, or a related field
- Familiarity with 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software
- Experience in a construction, renovation, or design environment
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath products, cabinetry, or materials
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
