Kitchen & Bath Design - Interior Designer and Sales Associate

Saratoga Kitchens & Bath has been providing custom kitchen and bathroom solutions for the greater Saratoga Springs area for over 10 years. We offer design-build services for both residential renovations and new construction projects. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant to join our team. This position requires a strong blend of design expertise, sales acumen, and customer-focused service to guide clients through every phase of the design and sales process.

Position Overview

The Kitchen & Bath Designer / Sales Consultant is responsible for developing functional, aesthetically pleasing kitchen and bath designs while driving sales growth through consultative selling. This role involves working closely with homeowners, builders, material vendors, and contractors to translate client needs into detailed design plans and professional proposals.

Key Responsibilities

· Consult with clients to evaluate project goals, budgets, timelines, and design preferences

· Design kitchens and bathrooms for renovations and new construction using 2020 Design (Design Flex) Software

· Prepare accurate layouts, renderings, and specifications based on architectural drawings and field measurements

· Research, select, and specify cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and related products

· Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, estimates, and product presentations

· Manage the sales process from initial consultation through contract execution

· Actively generate new business opportunities within the construction and remodeling market

· Develop and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, and industry partners

· Provide consistent, high-quality customer service throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of sales and design experience in Kitchen & Bath design

· Demonstrated proficiency in 2020 Design (Design Flex) Software

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to read and understand architectural / construction plans

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

· Must reside locally or be willing to relocate prior to start date

· Valid Driver’s License required

Education

· Associate degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
