As a Kitchen Cabinet Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, in house staff , subcontractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional results that elevate home interiors.

Duties

Meet with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen cabinetry projects

• Create detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Develop precise drawings and specifications for custom cabinetry, incorporating color theory and lighting design principles
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals including budgets, timelines, and material selections
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure accurate material orders and timely installation
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation progress and ensure design integrity during the renovation or remodeling process
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with clients and team members

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SALES and the ability to close without assistance. Interior design or cabinetry design with a strong portfolio showcasing kitchen projects
• Proficiency in CAD software such as ProKitchen (Similar to 20/20) just better for drafting and rendering
• Knowledge of construction processes, remodeling practices, and lighting sales strategies
• Familiarity with project management tools to coordinate timelines and budgets effectively
• Strong understanding of color theory, lighting design, and spatial planning principles
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts accurately
• Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
• Prior experience with contracts, budgeting, sales techniques related to renovation projects is a plus
