Kitchen Cabinet Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Designer to join our design team. This role involves creating innovative and functional kitchen cabinet layouts that meet client needs while integrating aesthetic appeal. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in drafting, interior design, and project management, with the ability to utilize advanced design software. As a Kitchen Cabinet Designer, you will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality custom solutions that enhance kitchen spaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cabinet designs using Pro-Kitchen, and other CAD software.
• Create visual presentations and renderings utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, translating these into functional designs.
• Prepare detailed project plans, including specifications for materials, lighting, and finishes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during the renovation or remodeling process to ensure design accuracy and quality standards.
• Assist in selecting color schemes based on color theory principles and lighting design considerations.
• Draft contracts and proposals for clients while maintaining adherence to project budgets and timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends in interior design, lighting sales, construction techniques, and remodeling best practices.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design or cabinetry design with proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong background in drafting, lighting design, renovation projects, construction processes, and sales strategies related to kitchen remodeling.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques for coordinating large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes for custom cabinetry projects.
• Experience working with contracts and client negotiations is preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
