Kitchen Cabinet Designer

In this role, you will combine your passion for interior design with technical expertise to craft custom cabinet layouts that meet clients’ needs and elevate their living spaces. Your creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills will drive the success of each project from concept to completion. Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for kitchen cabinetry projects
  • Create detailed 3D models and layouts using SketchUp, Revit, Rhino 3D, or AutoCAD to visualize designs effectively
  • Develop comprehensive construction documents and shop drawings utilizing Cabinet Vison or Mozaik software
  • Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware, lighting elements, and color schemes based on color theory and interior design principles
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure seamless execution of design plans
  • Prepare accurate project estimates, budgets, and timelines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist in the sales process by presenting design concepts confidently and explaining technical details clearly to clients

Experience

  • Proven experience in kitchen or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing cabinetry projects
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Photoshop for drafting and visualization
  • Knowledge of construction processes, renovation techniques, lighting sales, and remodeling practices
  • Familiarity with contracts management and budgeting for residential or commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of lighting design principles, color theory, and interior space planning
  • Experience working with project management tools to track progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
