Kitchen Cabinet Designer

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and project scope for kitchen cabinetry, counters, and closets
  • Develop detailed 3D models and renderings using Cyncly design, SketchUp, Revit, or AutoCAD to visualize design concepts effectively
  • Prepare comprehensive construction documents and drafting plans utilizing Cyncly, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other CAD tools for accurate implementation
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project managers to coordinate timelines, budgets, and specifications
  • Incorporate color theory to enhance aesthetic appeal
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously by adhering to deadlines and maintaining clear communication throughout the process
  • Stay updated on industry trends in renovation, remodeling, lighting sales, and construction to offer innovative solutions that meet client expectations

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Cyncly, Bluebeam or similar design software
  • Strong drafting skills
  • Background in interior design or related fields with an understanding of color theory
  • Familiarity with project management practices including budgeting, contracts, and scheduling
  • Knowledge of renovation and remodeling processes along with construction site coordination experience
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Nice-to-have skills include experience with Bluebeam for document management; understanding of contracts; knowledge of the latest trends in kitchen renovation; experience in sales or client consultations; and a background in budgeting. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
