We’re growing fast and need a coachable, customer-first beginner to turn walk-ins, inbound calls, and web leads into accurate designs and clean orders—while coordinating with our templaters for all site measurements.
What you’ll do
- Customer intake & qualifying in our CRM.
- Design & quoting using our kitchen design software to create item lists, quotes, invoices, and contracts.
- Proposal presentation: Close deals and collect deposits.
- Coordinate measurements: Schedule templater visits, review measurement packets, confirm appliance specs, clearances, door swings, and constraints.
- Order accuracy: Verify SKUs; panels, trim, fillers, scribes; color/styles.
- Pipeline management: Update and track stages in our CRM.
- Install coordination: Share layouts/elevations/build sheets with assembly/delivery/installer; track dates; prep punch list items as needed.
- After-sale follow-up: Request reviews and help collect final payments.
- Showroom care: Keep displays/samples/promos current and tidy.
What you’ll learn
Triangle workflow and clearances, reading plans, SKU discipline, CRM, and error prevention.
What makes you a fit
- Friendly communicator, organized, detail-oriented, quick with computers.
- Willing to learn our design software and CRM.
- Basic construction knowledge; kitchen design knowledge is a plus.
- Retail/design/construction exposure is a plus—no field measuring required.
Schedule & environment
- Hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: By appointment only
- On-site showroom role (templaters handle all site measurements)
Compensation
- Base Salary: $40,000/year during training + commissions (potential $150k+ a year)
- Leads will be provided during and after training
- Commissions: Commissions for sales on cabinetry and countertops (details explained at interview)
