Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and talented Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant who brings together design ability and strong sales skills. This role requires a professional, client-focused individual who can guide customers through the design process while successfully closing projects. This is a highly interactive, client-facing role where communication, organization, and presentation matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their goals, style preferences, and budget
- Design functional and visually appealing kitchen and cabinetry layouts
- Present design concepts, selections, and pricing proposals
- Manage client relationships from initial consultation through design completion
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal team members
- Maintain accurate schedules, notes, and project documentation
- Utilize digital tools and software to stay organized and efficient
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in remodeling, cabinetry, or interior design
- Background or strong aptitude in interior design, decorating, or space planning
- Strong closing ability and confidence in guiding client decisions
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling, communication, and design work
- Experience with ProKitchen (or similar design software) preferred
- Self-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement

Work Requirements
- Must maintain a drug-free lifestyle and be able to pass any required screenings in accordance with company policy and applicable law
- Must have reliable personal transportation
- Must be willing to travel locally to job sites and meetings within: Leon County, Gadsden County, Jefferson County, and Wakulla County
