Kitchen Designer / Sales Specialist
Location: Duluth, Georgia
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Travel: Up to 25% travel for trade shows and client visits
At Cabinet Showroom, we are looking for a high-performing Kitchen Designer / Sales Specialist who is passionate about design, sales, and relationship building. This is not an entry-level design role — we are looking for someone experienced, fast-paced, sales-driven, and ready to roll up their sleeves and grow with a rapidly expanding cabinetry company.
This role is approximately 50% design and 50% sales, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and other trade professionals.
Responsibilities
- Design kitchens and living spaces using 2020 Design software at an expert level
- Create accurate and efficient layouts, renderings, and cabinet quotes
- Conduct 50+ outbound calls daily to follow up on leads, quotes, and professional accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, flippers, and trade professionals
- Assist clients through the full sales process from consultation to order placement
- Visit client homes and job sites when needed
- Participate in trade shows and networking events throughout Georgia and neighboring states
- Collaborating with a Design Assistant to improve workflow efficiency and client response times
- Manage leads, customer communication, and follow-ups through Freshsales CRM
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer experience
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Designer
- Expert-level proficiency in 2020 Design (speed and accuracy required)
- Proven experience selling over $1 million annually in cabinet products
- Strong sales ability and advanced relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, client meetings, and events
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and team-oriented personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RTA cabinetry
- Experience using Freshsales CRM
- Experience using Magento ecommerce platforms
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working with contractor and trade professional accounts
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 base salary
- 3% uncapped commission on closed sales
