Kitchen Designer/Sales

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming clients' kitchen visions into reality by designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert guidance on products and design elements. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for design, as well as the ability to work effectively in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen needs and preferences, offering tailored design solutions.
• Utilize design software such as Design 2020, Design Flex to create detailed kitchen layouts and renderings.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of various kitchen products.
• Assist customers with product selection, including cabinetry and countertops.
• Engage in inside sales activities to promote kitchen design services and products.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all design materials and samples are readily available for client consultations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or inside sales, preferably in the home improvement or kitchen design industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Design 2020 is required.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen products, including cabinetry, countertops, appliances, and lighting options.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating functional yet beautiful kitchen spaces.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
